Asynos – IoT

What it is:

Asynos has created a supply chain solution that digitizes assets on the single-unit level with an individual ultra-low-cost RFID/NFC-enabled tracking and sensor system.  The system integrates with a SaaS/private cloud data platform.  They call it “Supply Chain Digitization as a Service” and it provides a turnkey solution for detailed endtoend visibility of individual assets.  The platform is customizable and allows for full inventory management, traceability, sensor-based quality processing, and procurement of trillions of items.

Who Made It?

Founder and CEO Jan Schnitker launched Asynos in 2021.  He also serves as Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Is It Fresh GmbH.  Is It Fresh is a digital platform designed to make packaging smart by the integration of chip and sensor technology.

Funding status:

The company joined TechFounders on an undisclosed date and received €25,000 in funding.  Additionally, Asynos raised an undisclosed amount of venture funding from Nenio Ventures in May 2021.  Nenio Ventures is a VC firm based in Dusseldorf, Germany. The firm provides early-stage financing pre-seed and series A funding to innovative products/services for building business models.

Why we like it:

  • Few innovations these days are more critical than those that have the potential to ease supply chain woes for global corporations
  • Use cases for manufacturing, distribution, warehouse and retailers, pharma, and construction
