Hohme is an app that allows homeowners to manage all their smart home devices and can connect them with the best local service providers to help with repairs and home improvements. The platform harnesses the power of digital twins and creates a 3D replica of the user’s physical home, creating floor plans and measurements, and captures appliance data. Hohme then connects to all IoT devices in the home and streamlines the communications between service providers and homeowners. Users can schedule appointments, keep track of warranty information, owner’s manuals, and more.

What it is:

Hohme is an app that allows homeowners to manage all their smart home devices and can connect them with the best local service providers to help with repairs and home improvements.   The platform harnesses the power of digital twins and creates a 3D replica of the user’s physical home, creating floor plans and measurements, and captures appliance data.  Hohme then connects to all IoT devices in the home and streamlines the communications between service providers and homeowners.  Users can schedule appointments, keep track of warranty information, owner’s manuals, and more.

Hohme will launch in Q1 2023, with an initial rollout in Florida’s Babcock Ranch (America’s first solar powered town) focusing on existing homeowners who live in the top selling models from Lennar, DR Horton, and Pulte.  Babcock Ranch is the 10th fastest-selling master planned community in the U.S.

Who Made It?

Hohme was founded in 2021 by Anthony DeBono, who has over 18 years of experience.  DeBono is the creative and visionary mastermind behind d3 creative studio, a proven innovator, and trusted ally of some of the nation’s leading builders and real estate developers.

Funding status:

The company raised an undisclosed amount of angel funding from David Fry on September 9, 2022. Other undisclosed investors also participated in this round.

David Fry is the former CEO of WCI communities. Fry is experienced in land development and community planning, real estate sales, title and mortgage brokerage and amenity/hospitality planning, development, and operations.

Why we like it:

  • Creates a digital twin of the home, which means floorplans and measurements can be easily shared with vendors.  For example, if the homeowner wants to add window treatments, custom measurements exist in the app, which can be shared directly with the vendor.
  • Seamless integration with Schlage, Logitech, Resideo, iRobot, Ecobee, Sonos, Lutron, Honeywell Home, and more.
  • Piloting in Babcock Ranch ensures the launch will get a lot of press and recognition
